DOMINION CITRUS LIMITED ANNOUNCES EXECUTIVE CHANGES

TORONTO, May 29, 2002: Dominion Citrus Limited (TSE:DMN) announces that the Board of Directors has appointed Jacques L. Lavergne to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.  Michael Blair will remain as Chairman of the Board.

"I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Jacques Lavergne to the CEO position", said Michael Blair. "Jacques has been instrumental in driving the Company's strong operating performance over the past ten years, and his appointment reflects the Board's confidence in his ability to assume greater responsibility in strategically executing Dominion Citrus' growth plans."

Michael Blair added, "My involvement with the Company will remain active, as I support the management team through the Chairman's role. Not only is the Board of Director's supportive of this transition of responsibility, but I believe the separation of the Chairman and CEO roles is appropriate at this time."
