Dominion Citrus Announces Acquisition

Dominion Citrus Limited ("Dominion Citrus") announced that it has signed an agreement, subject to completion of due diligence investigations and certain other conditions, to acquire 66.7% of the equity of Catanti International Foods Inc. ("Catanti").  Catanti markets a range of premium olive oils and related Mediterranean food products across st1:country-region>Canada under the Catanti brand.o:p>

This acquisition allows Dominion Citrus to continue to diversify its product offering and build its family of higher margin branded products.

The share purchase is expected to close October 22, 2002.
