Dominion Citrus Announces the Appointment of a New Chief Financial Officer.
st1:place>TORONTO, ONTARIO--Dominion Citrus Limited (TSX: DMN) is pleased to announce that Ted Atkinson has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer effective immediately.
"I am delighted that Ted has joined our management team. I have worked with Ted in the past and I am confident that he has the skill set that will prove to be instrumental in helping build our business" commented Jacques Lavergne.
Mr. Atkinson has been the CFO of Quorum Funding Corporation, a venture capital firm participating in mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and re-structuring activities. Prior to joining Quorum, he was Controller at Husky Injection Molding, an $800 million international plastic injection molding systems manufacturer. He has also held senior financial management positions with Federal Pioneer/Schneider Canada, an electrical equipment manufacturer, and The Enfield Corporation, a public industrial finance and management company. He is a Chartered Accountant and has completed The Executive Program at Queen's University.
Gary Dephoure, the company's previous CFO, has left to pursue other interests. "We are grateful for Gary's contribution to Dominion Citrus and wish him all the best in his future endeavors" said Jacques Lavergne.
