Dominion Citrus Completes the Acquisition of Delta Foods International. and Renegotiates Credit Facilities
st1:City>Toronto, May 15, 2003: Dominion Citrus Limited ("Dominion") (TSX: DMN) today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Delta Foods International. ("Delta") and renegotiated its credit facilities.

This transaction provides for continued diversification of our product offering along with a broadening of our customer portfolio," commented Jacques Lavergne, President and CEO. "Additionally, we are delighted to add Brent Brown and John Hyndman to our management team. Having started the business in 1989, they bring a vast knowledge of the industry to our team and we look forward to their continued involvement."
Delta is Canada's fifth largest processor of maple syrup handling over 2.5 million kilograms of syrup annually at its 45,000 square foot facility in Brockville, Ontario.
Coincident with the closing of the Delta transaction, Dominion negotiated a $16 million credit facility with The Bank of Nova Scotia. This new facility replaces an existing $5 million credit facility with the same lender.
