Feijoa Pork Chops (Made with Pineapple Guava)

Ingredients

-4 to 6 large Country Fresh Pineapple guavas

-4 pork chops, trimmed

-1 onion, sliced

-1 tbsp. oil

-1 tbsp. wholemeal flour

-2 tbsp. brown sugar (optional)

-1 tbsp. soy sauce

-1 tbsp. malt vinegar

-1/2 cube powder, beef

How to Make

Heat oven to 170C.  Fry the pork and onion on stovetop in oil until lightly browned.  Lift out of pan and place in casserole dish.  Add flour, sugar, salt and pepper to the pan and stir.  Combine soy sauve, vinegar and stock powder with 1.5 cups water and gradually stir into pan.  Bring to boil so the mixture thickens.  Peel and slice pineapple guava and place on top of meat, then pour the sauce over it.  Cover and bake for 1.5-2 hours.  Serve hot and place extra fruit juices on top.
