A Brief History
Quirico "Guido" Scarafile started wholesaling Niagara Fruit in the Farmers Market at the Ontario Food Terminal in 1964.
His son, Paul Scarafile, accompanied him at the age of six, and grew up in the produce business. In 1975, after graduating from the University of Toronto, Paul joined Scarafile Produce as a partner alongside his father, in order to follow his passion for the fruit and vegetable industry.
Quirico "Guido" Scarafile retired in 2007, Paul assumed control and continued in the produce business to this present day.
In 2008, Paul's daughter Raquel Scarafile began accompanying him in the Farmers Market at the age of fourteen, marking the third generation of Scarafile to work at the Ontario Food Terminal.
The family tradition continues...

Local Produce
Scarafile Produce is a wholesaler of farm fresh local fruit from our farms in Niagra and farm partnerships in the Niagra and Simcoe region in Ontario, as well as the Île d'Orleans region in Quebec.
We specialize in peaches, nectarines, plums, strawberries, blueberries, grapes, pears and apples.
We are located at the Ontario Food Terminal and have been in business since 1964.
