International Logistics

Ripening
We have sophisticated storage and ripening facilities as well as the experience to ensure that crops reach the consumer looking and tasting their best. We provide facilities for ripening bananas and tomatoes. This careful monitoring ensures that the fruit ripens evenly from the core out, providing a longer shelf life. Ripening is as much of an art as it is a science.
Sorting and Grading
We have one of the most sophisticated gentle-cup tomato handling systems in the world. It delicately and accurately sizes, weighs, colour-sorts, grades, washes and packages at high speeds. As a result, spoilage is reduced and shelf life is lengthened. We also have the equipment and experienced labour to sort and package a wide variety of products.
Our Dominion Farms facility houses state-of-the-art equipment for sorting and grading carrots, onions, parsnips, beets, and turnips. Our concerns are not only with optimizing the value of the produce but also with ensuring food safety and security.
Packaging
We package and re-package a wide variety of fruits and vegetables for retailers and food service operators across Ontario and Quebec. Canadian field crops, including carrots and onions are handled in specialized facilities in Bradford, Ontario.
Transportation and Distribution
We provide warehousing and distribution services across our may companies. Our teams of distribution professionals have extensive expertise in storing and moving perishable products in the most efficient manner. Our fleet of refrigerated trucks have coverage across major city centers in Ontario and Quebec.
